Physical Laboratory I - Optics and Elements of Modern Physics

The laboratory is equipped to conduct the following experiments:
Determining the refractive index using the apparent thickness method with a glass plate.
Measuring the dependence of the refractive index on temperature using an Abbe refractometer.
Determining the concentration of solutions using a Sacharimeter SU-3.
Diffraction and interference of laser light.
Measuring the diffraction grating constant using a laser.
Determining the diffraction grating constant using a spectrometer.
Measuring the refractive index using the minimum deviation angle method with a prism.
Investigating the photoelectric effect.
Studying a triode and determining its characteristic curve.
Examining the characteristic curve of a semiconductor diode.
Investigating the characteristic curve of a transistor.
Determining the work function of electrons from a metal using the diode saturation current method.
Studying the laws of reflection and refraction of light.
Measuring the focal length of a lens using the lens equation and Bessel's method.
Characterizing the pulse response of a Geiger-Müller counter.
