Physical Laboratory II

The laboratory is equipped to conduct the following experiments:
Testing nuclear radiation statistics.
Measuring the work function of electrons from a metal.
Characterizing a diode and determining Boltzmann's constant.
Verifying Stefan-Boltzmann's law of radiation.
Studying the external photoelectric effect and determining Planck's constant.
Investigating the temperature dependence of electrical resistance in various solid materials.
Testing Malus's law and studying the Pockels effect.
Diffraction of laser light on a two-dimensional grating and studying the reciprocal lattice.
Characterizing a photovoltaic cell.
Investigating the Hall effect.
Studying the reverse piezoelectric effect using a static method.
Investigating ferroelectrics.
Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
Studying the piezoelectric and elastic properties of polycrystalline ferroelectrics.
Examining spontaneous and induced birefringence in TGS crystals.
